Point Pinos Fog Horn

Modern times have silenced the foghorn at Point Pinos. What watchers of the midnight submarine races could ever forget being blasted by the two blast horn. If you have a sound clip of it or a near-copy please email the webmaster and it can be shared.

Research by a visitor to the website tells me that the original 'horn is on display at the Lighthouse. The model is said to be a Leslie SM 25 Super Typhon. A Youtube video led me to play a few videos and I think I got a fairly good rendition - check it out:
